NOVEMBER 19, 2013 — Framingham, MA
We hear about disclosures of child sexual abuse and exploitation all too frequently. Each cases is a reminder of the challenges faced by schools and youth-serving organizations that are charged with protecting our children and teens. Despite the constant stream of such headlines, and the fact that they represent only a fraction of sexual abuse cases, we know that the risks of sexual abuse can be reduced and conditions conducive to sexual abuse can be eliminated.
We can make our schools and organizations safer. The Prevention Summit will bring together national and local leaders to share the latest prevention strategies, best practices and policies to address this devastating yet preventable threat to our children, families and communities.
