The Traumatic Stress Institute (TSI) regards rigorous program evaluation as critical to the implementation process. Collecting data, tracking data, and making data-based decisions drive the change process. Program evaluation also enables organizations to demonstrate measurable success to funders and other stakeholders, who are increasingly mandating organizations be trauma-informed.
TSI is an international leader in TIC assessment, having co-developed the Attitudes Related to Trauma-Informed Care (ARTIC) Scale. The ARTIC is one of the only psychometric measures of TIC currently available.
During the Program Evaluation, TSI collects data on measures at multiple time points. All the data is then displayed on an online dashboard that is individually tailored for each organization. Organizations gain access to their aggregate data findings on their organization’s dashboard. Individual staff receive their own results a confidential dashboard.
