Staff training about adults monitoring and speaking up about concerning situations in organizations is critical. The following is a sample exercise that can be used in youth serving organizations.  The purpose is to promote staff discussion about the potential warning signs in behavior of other staff that may help prevent abuse from happening. The scenarios highlight the ambiguity of many situations and heighten awareness of the impotance of speaking up.
